Cam joined the Skye Guides team in 2024. Based in Fort William he has climbed both in the Cuillin and on the coastal crags of Skye. He completed his first Ridge Traverse in 2018.
He’s been an active climber since 2010 and worked in the industry since 2012. Like many of us, he started at outdoor centres working with kids which is both inspiring and a rapid learning curve! Summer ML, rock climbing instructor, MCI and winter mountain leader qualifications makes the behaviour a wee bit more predictable nowadays 😉
He has also spent time working in the emergency pre hospital environment for the Scottish Ambulance service so has great first aid knowledge, which he puts to use delivering outdoor first aid courses throughout Scotland.
