Originally from the Lakes, it’s great to have Ben back again for his 4th season. Based at the Reindeer Centre in Glenmore its just a short flit across to the West for some real mountains for him 😉
Ben has many hidden talents that he modestly keeps to himself but his grin and chat is always quality. He’s an active fell runner. In 2023, Ben did the night leg from Bruach na Frithe to Bla Bheinn via Basteir and Gillean with Jamie Aarons on her record breaking Munro round.
“I have instructed and guided climbing and mountaineering all over the UK. Working with a wide variety of clients a highlight is working regularly with veterans from the Climb to Recovery charity.
Having developed a love of climbing many years ago, I have enjoyed adventures all over the UK and Europe. Favourite memories in the Alps include Mont Blanc, the Eiger and Grand Combin.”
